About Randy Schrum

Randy Schrum has been building things since before it was called entrepreneurship.

Since 1999, he has operated at the intersection of strategy, capital, and execution — founding and scaling businesses across digital publishing, business consulting, and private holdings. Today, he leads Owner Equity Partners and Kinsmen Holdings from Nashville, Tennessee, where he and his wife are raising nine children.

His philosophy is simple and uncommon: most business owners are operators trapped inside their own companies. Randy's work — and his own portfolio — is built around the opposite principle. When owners step out of the day-to-day and into genuine ownership, enterprise value grows. That is the thesis he lives and the work he does.
